Bluebox Honey started in the fall of 2011. We had a love of honey bees and a critical need to learn more. That fall we built supers, bottom boards and lids for the entire winter. A full semi-truckload full of material turned out the most amazing new homes for our bees. In the spring of 2012 we drove to California to pick up our first 100 packages of bees. These grew to more colonies and from that time on we continue to grow our colonies and focus on helping farmers establish green belt status with the use of Honey Bees as an option of using Sheep and or Cattle. We have survived bear attacks, mass colony collapse, and the all that mighty Mother Nature has thrown at us.
